We began in the travel industry in 1970* as a supplier of travel and associated services to individuals and groups. In the first decade of our existence, we provided travel planning, coordination, and management service to associations and government agencies in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Over the years we have enjoyed the privilege of planning, managing and/or coordinating the travel and related services for major events such as: The Folk Life Festival on the DC Mall, two Presidential Inaugural events which included as many as seven Inaugural Balls and The International Patent Cooperation Treaty Conference. Our list of clients served over the past 40 years include, to name but a few: The U.S. Department of State, The National Academy of Sciences, The Smithsonian Institute, The U.S. Air Force, The National 4-H Club, and the U.S. Customs Service.
Through the mid-80s to mid-90s, we operated several retail agencies as owners or partners.** Surrendering to our love for travel in and knowledge of Europe, we closed our retail doors in 1995 to specialize exclusively in custom designed FIT (foreign independent travel) tours throughout Western Europe.
