This is the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. After being a long time customer of both Jetsetter and Giltgroup, they have now lost all of my respect and business.
I purchased a hotel reservation from Jetsetter a few days ago, and when I received confirmation, I realized that I had accidentally entered in the wrong date (or their system screwed it up. can t be sure). I called them right back to fix the problem (this is less than 24 hours after the purchase). When I speak with them, I am informed that my purchase is not refundable and that they can t change the dates. Of course I am very upset by this information and request to speak with a manager. Not surprisingly, the manager is busy and can t take my call, but would be happy to call me back later. At this point, I am very stressed, as we had already booked our flight, and need to get our vacation figured out immediately. I let them know this, and they assure me I will get a call back that day. Stupidly, I believed them.
The next day when I had still not received a call back, I called them again. They gave me the same information as before, and said that the manager was busy again. All the while the people I spoke with at this company were rude and disrespectful to me. I let them know that if I don t get the situation resolved immediately, I will cancel the charges. This got their attention, and they let me know that they would see what they can do. A few hours later, I get an email letting me know that I can change the dates of my trip, but can t get a refund of the extra day that I had accidentally booked.
This is still not good enough for me, and I am in the process of canceling the charges with my credit card company. Apparently, Jetsetter has never learned that the customer is always right. All they had to do was make a small change to my trip, and everything would have been fine. Now I have lost many hours of my valuable time in dealing with this, and they have lost a customer. Hopefully the Yelp community will be reading this as well, and also not patronize this horrible company.
